Apologies if there\'s another thread with this covered. Just worked out
mpg MPG on Shell V Power on my FD. Did 217 miles of mainly city driving, and
fast when possible (no hypermiling here i\'m afraid)......

14.99 but rounded it to 15 to make myself feel better lol

1996 std twins, mild street port, straight thru exhaust some other mods.

Getting Remapped saturdat then dyno next week.

Anbody else care 2 post theirs?????

CharlieP

Well mine consistently did 19-20mpg...thats about 50:50 motorway cruising:fast boosts! :D
Bit less now that I\'m running bit higher boost....fairly standard car engine wise

BlitzBoy

be done to death on the FDUK forum. WE DRIVE SPORTS CARS NOT DIESELS ECONOMY THREADS ARE SOOO BORING, talk about the driving experiance not mpg

Hey BlitzBoy sorry but u have it wrong lol. Not worried about the figure(Show me a decent sports car that gets a decent figure when planted anyways).
Am thinking of lower MPG as a point of pride. Kind of proportional to amount of fun you\'re having. Driving experience? Goes without saying doesn\'t it?:3gears-lh

Mine can do a max of about 25, 16 round town and drops to 6 on boost :D gotta love my almost stock FC lol

SleepyDude

Mine was around 20mpg seems to to much better now its been remapped. Not sure how much better but tanks lasting much longer. Maybe 25, 26 mpg I would guess. (on good boy driving lol)

On heavy right foot driving drops to around 12mpg lol maybe less lol

But lets face it, you want speed your gonna pay, you want good mpg get a little 1litre lol

SiH

I average about 13.9. Stock twins, PFC, WGT map, 360ish.
Almost every single tankful has at least 1 track slot in it though :D

JasonC

I reckon im getting about 20 ish on average, depending on how heavy my right foot is.
When i got my car i drove it back up from essex (450 mile trip for me) it cost me about 110 quid in petrol, although i had about a quarter tank left when i got back -  i figured it out about 22 mpg, steady cruising on the motorway at 70mph.

MARKPRIOR

Not many lol about 6 on boost if that

AtomicRex

Winner!!!

We average 4mpg in a race.

Im pretty sure mine will drop to that with the 1680 injectors lol mines running stupidly rich cause of the Walbro pump increasing the fuel pressure, and the fact that both connectors on the gearbox had come off - one was to tell the ecu when it was in neutral (flames on the shifts lol) and the other 1 was to tell the ECU I was in 5th to kick in the lean cruise mapping lol

MARKPRIOR

doh forgot to put map spec lol - also running 1680cc injectors

WGT Map - Dyno\'d 422bhp @ 1bar

Good job - I got mine in Surrey and drove it back to Glasgow, was 130 litres  (28.6 gallons) for 425 miles, so 14.86 mpg.

You must have driven like a granny! ;)

Wouldn\'t say a total granny, maybe a bit!
Was more a case trying of taking it easy on the long journey - as well as the petrol, 4 cans of relentless energy drinks were consumed in order to get up the road!
