Well good news is that this is happening again for the 2009 calender at RAF Marham, Kings Lynn, Norfolk.  Last year raised £40,000 for charity and this year will be even better given that last year was the first event of its kind.
We are hoping for 120 rally cars, some are WRC cars present or ex and have secured several top drivers or co-drivers to participate.
Markko Martin is defending his title,Alex Higgins, Alex Burns (Richard\'s Father), Neil Cole and even the lads from \'Deals on Wheels\' Sky show will be taking part in one form or another. As always the rally is over two days, Saturday and Sunday with Saturday being the party night with ex-Touring car champ Chris Hodgits playing with his superb band. Beer will be I expect £1 a bottle, coupled with fireworks, charity auction, this will be one fun filled night mixing exclusively with VIP\'s from the WRC and motorsport world.

The whole event is aimed at normal club class drivers pit against some of the best in the WRC world, expect lots of Metro 6R4\'s this year and as Markko martin is no longer with Subaru we really dont know what he is bringing along. Maybe the WRC car from Ford or one of his own this year, we really dont know.  During the day there will be a better close up and personal with the pit crews, a larger public display than last year and a fun fair with all the trimmings of fast food and bar outlets.  There will be a few car clubs attending but this we can sort out nearer the time if you wish to show your cars.  If you wish to show your cars there will be no entrance fee, I will deal with that. All you have to do is turn up. We are just 45 mins from Peterborough, 2 hours from London (FC road times so add 15 mins for FD\'s !!) lol.
Camping is available at no cost and you can camp Friday night and Saturday. Friday night we are having a BBQ and cheap beer but with most of us setting the site up you are more than welcome to pitch in,lend a hand and then down some beers afterwards. The camping area will accept motor homes.

Going to plug this as its going to be a cool event this year. Free camping if you let me know prior and a whole weekend of some good close up action from some old and new rally cars. We are even getting the Rotary powered Escort from Silverstone Autosport so should be good to support a rotary car if nothing else. Plenty to do for the kids and you will have a party on the Saturday night. Entry is just £8 in advance and £10 on the gate but if you let me know you are coming and especially camping then I can get you into the pit area and away from the main crowd. Easy parking as well.
