Well I wont be at Jap finals this year for the RWYB as there is a sprint at Debden airfeild which is more important for us as its a round of the sprint championship next year so I want to get some more milage there in the car but last time I was there I gave this a good thrashing

And while I wore my silly hat a bloke shook my hand and gave me a cardboard box with a lovely christal whiskey glass in it

I think (well I\'m sure really) I\'d wee-wee myself in that sort of competition.

Well done Brian.

I saws it a couple of months ago when I was visiting my brother in South Carolina. It was in an auto X. Thought it was a 12a but I could be wrong. There was also a Jenson that had been rotorized:)
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Sorry guys but I would keep it as per maker. Good enough without sticking a rotor in it

Taking the car out this weekend to a sprint at Debden Airfield nr Cambridge on Sunday. Its a top venue with some very fast corners. There is 100 entries so if I can get in the top 20 thats good enough for me as I am saving the car for the following weekend at the Eelmoor sprint Nr Farnborough.
Not much done to the car except some new wheels for the new wet weather tires and the rear arches have been reprofiled to tidy it up a little and to cover the 10" wide wheels. Lets hope it fits on the trailer.
Lets hope Black Betty does me proud

Black Betty did me proud
After the practice runs I was 1st in class and 12th overall with a 69.12 but practice does not count
At the start of the 1st timed runs it started to rain and it was to late to change to wets and ended up with a 73.40( all you drag racing guys would have packed up and gone home)
Then it really chucked it down and there was standing water and on one of the straights a small river running accross the track. Now on ex Formula 3 renault wets I set of to "get a time"
70.14 was the result to take me to 1st in class and 5th overall. Nearly as fast on wets as the slicks. And behind me was the odd pilbeam and reynard

Roll on next sunday

Good stuff Brian, sounds like there is still a long way you can go with car.

I have just got my hands on the results from sunday and in the wet I was 6 seconds faster than anyone else. I think that might have been a bit mental

antnicuk

will it make any difference if you remove the front cycle wings?

6 seconds is pretty impressive!  i take it the tyres are working well!  what size are they?
