The PFC isn\'t a bad standalone for the FC - but it is far from plug and play, particularly if you use the FD one.  Ultimately though, something like Megasquirt is going to give you the most control as it has so many input/output options - and what\'s more there is a good community of people who\'ve done it.

Going the Emanage route was tough for me as there was only a handful of individuals who\'d done it - and typically they weren\'t saying much ;)  I am more than happy to share my findings and maps as examples to build from.

Well its a half bridge with RE lower inlet and upper inlet manifold, with the block port matched, standard primary\'s with 1000cc secondarys, bosche fuel pump and swirl tank, using a microtech ecu custom intercooler and rad (similar to sadgoths) has a custom manifold with T78 33D turbo, greddy wastegate plumbed in to the downpipe, with silenced mid pipe and hks rear section. custom water tank system.

Im hoping its going to be ready for Rotorpop ;)

Just realised, no one has talked about drivetrain yet.

What power is the stock clutch good for?

What power is the stock clutch good for?

Good question !

I know that once I went towards about 250 bhp, the stock clutch didn\'t last too long.

The Greddy Organic clutch is a good replacement, and with an uprated pressure plate that\'s what I\'m running now.

I did try a Carbo-Metallic clutch from F1 Racing - ebay jobby - very cheap, and it did slip on me at just over 4000 rpm in top gear once hitting boost - but then when I took the gearbox off to check the clutch, it was only riding on only 5-6mm of material on the outside edge due to a lip on my flywheel.  This clutch was rated as 400BHP/400 ftlb andI reckon that with a good flywheel it would do that easily.

I think clutch life will depend greatly on how you use/abuse it - hard launches or power pulls are going to shorten the life.

is tim (rx motors) doing ur wrk? surprised u managed to get the re lim on as my tuner adv me the port diff was too great to fit the re lim.
im assuming its the fc block not fd?

Mine is running a carbonetic single plate clutch which seems pretty good but still running in the engine so will see how it copes after that!?
