Just thought be nice to get a list going of how much ppl are pushing and what mods (ie injectors size, tub, IC, etc etc). nice if have dyno print also.
2 doritos on a stick woohoo :rollin

I will be running less then 300ish I recon, need to get it dynoed though :)

Arc intercooler
Knightsport chipped ECU
Stock turbo, but ported and upgraded with 360 thrust bearings
Stock injectors
Custom 3" exhaust
Ebay special air filter :D
Still running airpump
Blitz BOV

Prof

Based on my last dyno (318 bhp) and the boost I was runnng then (10 psi) and am running now (15 psi) then I reckon I\'m over the 350 at the fly.

Mods:

Fuelling:

550 Primary\'s, 800 Secondaries.
Fuel pressure upped by 1/2 Bar
Feed Pressure regulator on custom fuel rail
Walboro Pump and rewired with resistor/relay in back wing of car

Induction:

HKS mushroom filter
Custom Turbo Inlet Duct (TID) 3" and 45 degree bend
Hybrid Turbo Garrett T04B A/R 0.7 compressor with 3" inlet on a Hitachi HT 18 stock turbine with ported wastegate, rear plate spacer, 360 journal bearings
ARC top mount intercooler
Greddy Compression tube

Exhaust:

Full decatted Racing Beat with 3" downpipe

Engine / Cooling:

Streetported 13BT, Emissions removed and Rats Nest removed
60mm Deep ASI Radiator - 7L cooling system, Electric 3000 CFM fan

ECU / Electronics:

Blitz Access chipped ECU and Emanage Ultimate piggy back.

I know you are supposed to keep the injector sizes as small as possible, but how have you managed to get high figures on those?

I went on the fc fuel calculator and for 350 - 400hp it said i\'d need 720 primaries 1000 secondaries at 85% duty.

Lee mills is running 1000 secondaries and stock primaries on his FD and he is getting over 500

Prof

I also used the calculator - and there are some assumptions made by it that relate to the way the stock ECU drives the injectors.

A stock ECU will push the injector duty up to 80% on the primaries before these fall back to 40% and the secondaries come in.  Fuelling is then driven on the secondaries until they hit 80-85%.  The primaries will only go above 40% if the ECU thinks the engine is cold (hence the resistor power mod that you see sold on ebay)

A chipped ECU will drive the primaries to 80% as before, but when the secondaries come in, the primaries drop back only a little - say to 60% and then rise again with the secondaries - this gives better use of the stock fuelling system.

The other thing to remember is that I am running just a little more fuel pressure - this effectively makes the primaries run as 610CC injectors and the secondaries are close to 900CC  it may not seem like much - but it\'s quite a lot more fuel.

I still have 20-30% headroom on my secondary injectors at 15 psi - so there is still plenty of fuel left.

It\'s only the primary injector\'s you need to keep smaller, as it\'s very hard to get a good stable idle with larger injectors because of the very small pulse widths involved.  By the time the secondaries are needed, the amounts of fuel will mean large enough pulse widths to be controllable.

I know on John\'s FC (Black and White with over 500 BHP) he used 1000 or 1200 primaries and they didn\'t fire every cycle.

Yes i was and ran 507@ the fly.

Not any more though now 1000 primaries and 1680 secondaries:D

Wow.. and just when i started to think i was getting the hang of injectors and ECUs!

That\'s really useful info there Prof

And now im completely baffled about what injector sizes i need :2Confused But probably not as large as i was originally going for!

m1tch

Im going for stock 550 primaries and 1680 secondaries, im choosing to go with the smaller primaries so that it still stock fueling when you are driving around normally, but then have all the fueling I will ever need EVER when I turn the boost up :) If I max out both primary and secondary injectors to 85% it would be injecting 4.5 litres per minute and I will be out of fuel in 18 minutes lol :D

haha, thats crazy mitch.

i may keep the stock 550 primaries then and go for 1000 secondaries.. with a powerfc controlling them, that should be enough for 350-400 with a bit of headroom if i want more later?

Do you already have the Power FC as I have one going for sale soon. Its the one for the FC3s not the FD (which are pretty rare) so you can run stock turbo and still get huge BHP!!:D

rx7pat

Im running pretty much the same setup as m1tch lol crazy stuff!!
Should be good for 350-400 bhp but one run in will post dyno.

Thanks for the offer but I have an ap engineering pfc. Though i think im missing the 3bar map and IAT sensors for it. and the possibly resistors soldered in to the harness for low impedance injectors (if it needs them )

L18M

i think pete taylor was afer a pfc if u want to rid it.

I don\'t really rate the PFC for FCs as they are ment to FDs, and are simply downgraded for an old car ie the FC, tis why im getting an e-manage, but my chipped ECU is good for 0.9 bar :)
