Can someone explain in detail what this means.

I am asking this because i hit 39% easily and then as the boost rolls up it seems to be staying at 39% a while without moving. As boost and revs increase it should be going up constantly but it isnt. or am i wrong it does creep up a bit but im being super cautious with my new setup and dont want to push it. if i floor it in 3rd at 2000 rpm it hits this 39% and stays there to 4000 rpm and boost builds too. Im getting 20 on the knock max.

My 1600s secondaries have in line resistors.

If they are not coming online would this 39% max be an indicator? Im guessing so.

Suffice to say im going to drive the car off boost till i get my afrs and injectors checked, (still go no laptop got sent the wrong one)

Maybe ive been sold fried injectors hmmph.

Stumped

I asumme you are talking about injector duty, whats the percentage at idle? whats the afr like at 4k rpm?

Jus

you will see 40-50% quickly before full boost then when the 1600\'s come online your duty will see a smaller movements, lets say, 55-70% (depending on power) on full boost, on power pc commander.

Someone else will need to give the technical explanation but I assume overall % is only true when on max boost.

DR SCHNITZEL

thanks guys, still unknown on the afrs as i got sent the wrong laptop.

its about 8% idle
39% at 4k boost buildsit gets to about .5 bar and no real movement.

im going to wait toll i get the afrs sorted but is this normal? i thought boost and cycle duty woudl go up together.

or is teh cycle duty only measuring the primarys. i have got 60% duty at some point. so there must be a transitional phase where the cycle duty stays put.? I never noticed this on my twin tub setup.

still not taking past 4k not atking any chances

also the knock hits 20 max

BlitzBoy

yep it sounds quite normal tbh,but yes wait till you get the afr reading before taking it past 4k, only start worrying about the knock if it goes past 80
