Hi, does the fd waterpumphousing fit on a 13bt engine?
And does the powersteering unit of a fd fit on the 13bt engine?
I have the fd uim and greddy intake elbow but want to keep the powersteering.

the fd water pump runs in the opposite way to the fc one. so i dunt think is possible to use the fd one unless u change the wheel so that the water flows the correct way round.

im sure i\'ve seen fd uim with compression tube and power steering.

come think of it.. im gonna be running 13b re uim and greddy compression tube and keeping power steering.. unless the power steering is being removed without me knowing lol
will put pics on my thread once i get my fc back n can see if it helps u :)

oh, how about running the pipes below the power steering..?
seen that done b4 but not got pics.. think prof has pics of it from brooklands.

Yup it has been done. I used an Fd alloy PS Bracket (well cut down) when i first put an FD Upper inlet on one of my T2\'s before i went with the Manual steering rack.

I don\'t see why there should be much gain with the water pump?? (you would have to do something about the AST) but the mount on the front plate is the same/Very similar.

Are you changing the water pump because you want to use the pulley set off an FD?, or is the intention to get a stronger thermostat housing?- if so there are metal ones available.
