Removing door handles?

My door handles are looking very untidy so I am thinking about taking them off and re-spraying them.... Is this easy to do?

Is removing the exterior handles a big job? Or something a newb could do some damage if they try to do it?

I don\'t want to end up not being able to get back in my car LOL

its very easy bud, pull off the plastic trim inside, then you\'ll see 2 10mm bolts, undo these and they come off. Simple as that.
