Ok, so originally i was going to insure my self my egi with a policy that lets me drive other cars and have my dad insured on the TII. This way i can move it around from garage to garage when needed and to the track/drift events. But after getting a quote with HIC  on the egi which was £550 less than than the company that would insure me to drive any car i decided to go with HIC. Anyway now i have a dilema, i thought i could use some kind of day insurance company, but a few have said im too young (20) and that the car is too high an insurance group.

So does anyone know what else i can do? or where any decent day/monthly insurance companies? The only other thing i can think of is to get one of those frame like trailers and use that. But then arn\'t there some laws about the weight of the towing vehicle? The heaviest one i can get my hands on (my mates) is a celica gt4, which im guessing wont be heavy enough?

any info what so ever will be appreciated :D

Have you asked HIC if they will add it for a day?

well they would add it for a year, hmm maybe i should ask them.

if i have both insured they will insure the TII for 1500 so a month of that should be like £125

I reckon they would do it for less than that :)

they wont do it till im 21, and they wont let me do it unless i need it to sell the car etc

so if i cancel it thats £50 down the drain.

so now i need to find monthly thats less than £500 for a few months through the year, but no one will even insure me!!! urgh!!!

ah, i could get my dad to add the car to his policy, let him drive it a bit, then i could be a named driver on his policy, wahey
