Another Kraut...

Hi,

my name is Olaf, I´m 31 years old and I´m from Germany.
Along with my wife there is another beauty in my life. It´s a *Chaste White* \'95 RX-7 Type-R Bathurst X.

I bought the car last year in Japan and got it imported to Germany.

It came with some minor modifications like 17" Gram Lights, a Fujitsubo Legalis-R catback some Apexi air intakes and last but not least a C-West GT aluminum Wing.

Now the car is pretty much stock again except the catback and air intakes.

The trunk lid received a slight overhaul due to a little rust issue. A new wing was also mounted but this time the original one.

In the near future some H&R lowering springs will go in, but that will be it.
Ok ok...maybe a RE-Amemiya dual dolphin tail exhaust, too...if I find one. :Giggle

When it´s not snowing or freezing the car is used as my daily driver, my Autobahn terrorist and weekend fun racer.:yes

Welcome to the club and all that. The car looks very nice, even the leather seats look to be in good condition. Definitely looks much better without that nasty wing on it!

The english lessons were my favorites in school. :yes

It´s always easier to write in english. When you´re talking to someone you don´t have time to look into the dictionary. :Giggle

The overall condition of the car is awesome, even the trunk lid now.

The GT-Wing was really nasty, thats right. But that problem has been solved.
BTW, if someone is interested in an aluminum C-West GT Wing I have one up for sale.:rolleyes:

Your story brings back to mind a nice guy who used to travel over to here for events many years ago in his Gen 2 who learnt to speak english through his love of old american westerns that had sub titles :Giggle

Nice to see such a healthy lot over the channel.  I spent three years in Germany, in fact it was right on the Dutch/German border- Roermond was my closest city and then M\'gladbach the nearest German city.  What amazed me is that it did not matter if they were Dutch, German or even Belgium they all spoke not only very good English but most spoke at least 3 other languages as well. It really does put us \'British\' to shame as we expect everyone to speak the English Language no matter where we are in the World.  It was without doubt the best three years of my life..
Welcome to the Club and keep us posted on whats on over there (apart from the Ring), be good to cruise over there for a big rotary or Jap meet.
