How Many 1st Gens Still Running?

I saw an Elford with Tim at RXMotors, has anyone been down to see him to take note of what he has in stock?

I should email him I suppose; this was suggested but I didn\'t do it. I wouldn\'t want any details of customers cars, that\'s confidential to them, but his stock I would find very interesting. If anyone\'s nearby it would be more than welcome information.
Basically my Golden Rules are:-
Search out what\'s on ebay/the net or magazine articles/adverts - that\'s available to everyone anyway. Then what\'s visible traveling on the road or visible from the road - that\'s public knowledge again (in spite of this new anti terrorism law - stuff\'s still visible for goodness sake).
Then historic records of car trades/ auctions, though they don\'t last long.
I\'m then recording things on a fairly detailed Reg List.
The final rule is that nothing sensitive like a full Reg No. or VIN No. or exact location must come back onto an internet forum from me.

I still have mine, its a c reg, c222 uaj, its sorn at the moment, as I got it for project and not got round to doing it yet, but will do eventualy lol,

Thanks Mark, I\'ve got it now. What Colour Series 3 is it? North Yorks is right isn\'t it? Or is it Cleveland??

Not sure on the code for the colour but it is a light blue, and it is cleveland mate ,

Thanks Mark it\'s the Metallic Blue I think it was called Tender Blue. The Series 3 Rx7 only had about 6 colours.

Ha, well spotted mate- the pic of OYD is circa 1999 when my mum first bought that house. Fast forward to now and I\'ve still got a 1st gen but now I rent that house off her so it\'s come full circle. I\'ll get some flowers in the window box asap! Gonna leave the drive though, kids have got enough in the garden to throw as it is.

Thanks ever so much for this one. I\'ve had you down as a 2 tone green in Leicestershire for yonks, but no Reg. That now makes 9 out of 10 registrations for the only 10 Series 1\'s I\'ve come across so far.
