door card removal

hi guys sorry if there is already a thread on this i did search but couldnt find much...


how do i get my drivers side door card off in my FD? my drivers side window switches have given up the ghost and i would like to get in there to see if its the switches or the motor etc. any help much appreciated :driving

IIRC...

There are a couple of screws on the underside of the door, then there is one under a little pop off cover in the door handle.

I think thats all the fixings then you have to kind of slide it up and out, it\'s a bit fiddly.

theres a few screws under and on the side of the door and iirc theres a little flap on the bit where you pull the door shut from the inside, theres a screw in that bit too, then the rest are just poppers holding it on it can be a bit fiddly but have a look for any more screws mate

thanks to both above, i did try this before posting the thread im sure i had all the little screws out but it felt a little too secure for me to try pulling it off so thought id try here before breaking it in anger!

Search on here for door speaker removal, there is an excellent thread that tells you photo by photo on what to do and where all the screws are.
 
Is an awkward screw underneith the window switch that you will need a magnetic screwdriver for.
 
You have to lift the whole door card up quiet hard to get it completely off but be carefull of the short wiring connector that will be attached to it.
