metering oil pump

hi all ,pull fault code from my mates fd and it point to the metering oil pump sensor. is there any way you can short or loop the wire that goes to it to see if it is at folt. thanks :Thumbs-up

i wouldnt risk it mate. If the power fc is showing it then theres a fault with it. You can do without it buy using premix in your tank of fuel! some people prefer it as its more reliable!!
