Well I would get it rebuilt and ported and then at least you know its all done. Do you know the history of the engine in its current state?

yeh i know that would be the sensible thing to do lol, its running fine atm... TOUCH WOOD! its had a rebuild not a massive amount of time ago as far as i know its stock ports receipt says nothing about ports so that is what im guessing, just wanted to go single lol... might wait till after xmas and i will have some more cash then get it rebuilt and ported with a single

Yeh thats what I would do. You then no its a fresh engine plus it wont cost as much cause you wil only have to buy the rebuilt kit and not have to worry about buying housings. Rotors etc etc.

Having said that. You will still make good power with stock ports with a resonable single.

yeh im not sure why im getting the little creep, new boost controller, i put a diaphragm in the WG when the engine was out and bigger WG lines :confused:

maybe its down to the WG and the boost controller fighting with each other, i have the yellow spring in the WG which is .8 bar iirc but i dont know, im still learning it all..... :rollin

well havent updated in a while, just being enjoying when i can.

took it out for a blast the other weekend, these cars are sooo much fun and can take what ever you give, but will try its hardest to catch you out as soon as it comes on boost high in the revs :3gears-lh  :driving   its now off the road sorn and should have a few new toys and upgrades during the winter months

suspension bushes are first on the list, engine is coming back out to do the leaky sump and fit the sump brace, also want to tidy a few more wires up and do a bit more polishing. i need them to look like yours

Yeh, dont try to start it :p
I\'d just make sure nothing can get into it from the intakes or exhaust ports and then just cover it over.
