Anyone know what this is??

Just a quick question guys. Been having a bit of a clean under the bonnet and just wondered if anyone can tell me what this is?
 

 
I\'m assuming it\'s part of the induction kit as it is in one of the air recirc lines that would have originally been connected to the airbox. It now just hangs down between the HKS SPF filters and blows air into oblivion!!!
 

 
Not planning on removing it, just wondered what it was and what it\'s for? I can\'t figure it out!!!

i had one to its just a chamber to lets the oil breather collect clumps of oil rather than chucking it back into the inlet
