yes from sat mate, was picking up 34mph from the 8th to the qtr, final drive gearing is too short so terminals will be about 5mph down

10.00 @ 142 with a 1.7 60\', plenty more to come :)

hahahah glad you brought that up Lee
Well me and Stu lined up against each other on Saturday, they held us sooo long when we staged (something going on top track), then when it went green I feel asleep and Stu took off, two seconds later I decide to go, Stu had trouble getting second correctly, I hauled him at the 1000ft marker level pegging I surged past him and took the win by 0.1222 of a second.
I clocked 11.2 @ 1 bar he did 13.1 due to his mishift.

I went on did a final run of the day and clocked a 10.95 @ 126 @ 1.2 bar my first 10 since I put the cage in this year

Have only just found this thread. Have just been looking at the top twenty table blitz, isn\'t chris impy running a bit more boost now? 2 bar?

Have you noticed any difference in your car with the cage blitz? Does it feel more solid?

BlitzBoy

yip the table is out of date, might get around to updating it one day lol

Yes a lot more traction and less flex, hence why I been breaking stuff this year.
But finally dialed in my launch technique with the cage  so I should be hitting regular tens again

what has been breaking? gearboxs or diffs? due to more power being delivered to the tarmac? what are your plans for the car in the long run? tubbed back end or are you keeping it streetable?

running tens is brilliant, best i managed at rotorstock was a 13.06 on my twins but that was the first ever drag racing i have done, reckon i could have got into the 12s if i stayed longer but my gear box started making whinning noises and had to get home so i stopped. I have just ordered a gt4088 so will hopeully crack 12 easily.

BlitzBoy

Driveshafts, and at Rotorstock input shaft on the gearbox, the diff wont break as I have a Kazz 1.5 way lsd

no tubbing keeping the IRS to be streetable, more tuning over the winter for higher boost hopefully crack 500rwhp

How much more psi are you going for? 500 rwhp is nuts. What is the car weighing at now? Even with the cage I bet it\'s lighter than my car.

It amazes me the difference in uk rotary hp figuresand times compared to the Aussies. 500rwhp seems to be minimum for a slow drag car over there, even rx3\'s embarrass our best our fastest rotor.

Hopefully if people keep pushing development we will have some really nuts rotaries.

Are you running wi or are you on race gas? Or neither?

BlitzBoy

Well UK dyno 500rwhp will be enough for high a 9 second run if I nail the 60fts again.

Well last time it got weighed with me in it and some fuel I think it was circa 1250 kilos, I weigh 90 kilos so about 1160, have dropped some weight since that weigh in, lost the carpets and the heater unit, have a heated screen now, so hopefully around the 1130-1140 kilo range now.

I should hit 500rwhp at 22 psi, target is 28 psi.

I use 99 vpower to a third of race gas to keep it safe, but tbh honest at 1.2 bar it does not need it,I run straight pump at 1.1 bar for the road, will use 50:50 pump and race gas at 22psi, I will be installing the WI back on for the higher boost

28psi should be close to 700bhp if my brief calculations are correct.  That\'s a lot of power whichever way you look at it.  I do like a bit of HKS Drag series so it\'ll be good to see another quick rotary!

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!
