well, the map had some interesting spots on it! between 14-16PSI we had a 50% increase in fuel - which should comprehesively take out the leading plugs, then just to fisnish her off at 18PSI a further timing advance of 7 degrees (with only the trailing plugs struggling to work at this point!).

Now the big question is why? That wasn\'t put in by me, Geff or John and whatsmore I should never have seen those anyway as the mapping to 10PSI was safe and we were running off the 8PSI wastegate spring, but the dodgy upper boost map is what killed it!

see you should just map all the cells at all boost levels only way to be sure lol
Lucky for me when Geff mapped my Motec he put good values in all my cells originally back in July when I was running off wastegate spring , i put my boost controller and I forgot to zero all the values I hit 1.4 bar on the old settings :eek on the way to Rotorpop lucky the map was safe in all areas

yeah I agree, thing is by the time we got the flooding sorted at REWorx Geff had about 45mins to put a safe map on the car!

Did John do some tuning for you at Rotorstock afterwards?

yes, he had a look at the map, leaned out the idle a bit, looked at 12PSI, 14PSI, 20PSI, 18PSI and was mid way through either 14 or 18 before looking at 16 when his laptop died! He did find a few odd things in the map but nothing really scary, but if he never got to 16 then that would explain the over fueling and the bit advance step. Still I guess I should have mothballed the car until I\'d saved my pennies to map it fully, but I thought I\'d be ok running off the wastegate. Very difficult when it was off the road so long!

i have it on my phone ill upload it later, massive dropoff from the rew mani\'s and wastegate spring, plenty more to come when we switch to race fuel

maybe another big power street car will be born later today aswell

Not going to bother, tried it once, I didnt like mappping on the dyno.
Not interested in dynos at all.
If someone tells me they have 500hp im not not that impressed, but if they say they have a 130mph terminal then I am impressed!
