Please help! Lol

My FD is at super7autos, it has been remapped from stock twins with the new apexi ecu but the injectors are fouling\\maxing out!
They say it would be best to upgrade to 1600 or 1680cc\'s so i would also need a rail - and if they are low impedence i need resistors to go with! He said he can get hold of them but will cost £400+?
I mentioned some 1680 injectors that ive seen for sale for £100 but he says i can get them cheaper?

What do i really need? Please can someone enlighten me? Lol

Best to go with the dude who\'s doing the work for you. 1600s will need a rail, so you\'ll be looking around the £3/400 mark, plus maybe an adjustable pressure regulator? You could look into bigger primaries, so 850s all round which would work out cheaper. Some run resistors with the 1600s, others find they don\'t have to. Either keep the boost stock/lowish levels and don\'t mod, or pay the money and make the upgrade to complete the mapping.

Thanks!
Where is a good place to buy them and what makes should i b looking for?
How much should i expect to pay for a rail?

The garage said i may aswell try to get it cheaper elsewhere!?

ok thanks memski !

is there nowhere in the UK that i can get anything from?

just found this aswell... http://www.turborx7.com/fuelsystem.htm

does this mean that i can actually just upgrade my primary injectors to 850cc? or does that not solve the problem of the secondaries?

Timmy

Super7 do their own rail which is proper good.

I believe this is the bosch part number 0 280 150 846 for the 1600/1680 injectors they\'re 4.5ohm so you need a resistor wired in and than your fpr of your choice.

N777CK T

shame no shops selling them come up on google when you search the part number!

Do i definately need a fuel pressure reg? (fpr?)
Super7 didnt say anything about that??

Ask jason about the rail he deffinatly does them, he used my car to develope the product. Not sure what the lead time is as they\'re made in canada also don\'t know how many he has done now, mine might be still the only one in a car.

Dr-Rotor

If you get a FPR you will need a new fuel pump...if you raise the pressure on a stock pump it cuts out...they have a safty release thing. Just 1 walbro 500 intank pump will do.

What boost are you runing and what mods do you have?

N777CK T

damn this is getting expensive...! my cars only in for a remap really!

not sure what boost ? probably stock boost but just mapped for more power.
only mod that would matter is the decat/nur spec
