FDS3 Fibreglass Parts

Does anyone know who has the moulds,or can make/supply fibreglass Doors/Tailgate/Front & Rear wings for motorsport use, also Chargespeed Bonnet(Twin Large Vents), C-west N1 bumper, C-west/flush mounted 99spec Headlights & Late Type sidelights also reqd, all Body parts above accepted with some damage/scraps, Oringinals not reqd copys will be ok

Thanks for that NIKP ,I was hoping that there might be a UK based company that would produce the Panels,But as I will need a couple of sets,I may have to get some moulds made. Anyone Else know of anything?

Not sure about that, but Jono on here is handy with fibreglass: he may be able to make you some moulds, worth asking him.

He has carbon doors, boot, bonnets, wings etc.
Not much point in opting for the fiberglass panels as they are near as damb it the same weight as the stock FD items!!

I have fiberglass doors on my FD (imported from Japan), the weight difference is amazing as they are 5kg each compared to the stock metal ones which are 16kg each!
Many of the carbon doors are in fact FRP with a covering of carbon cloth which will weigh more than just an FRP door.

Just make sure you have a cage with door bars as FRP is very fragile!

mmm actualy i think mazdarotoryparts do carbon tailgate for £580
so it would not be worth me making a fiberglass one as it would be around £450 so might aswell go carbon id say.
 
be looking roughly £400 -£450 a pannel either door or boot. id guess.
