What do you think? im hopefully going down to have a look at it tomorrow, the only thing that im worried about is engine overhaul, let face it if the engine was rebuilt (in japan) to sell then it would be not have had a full rebuild, their is no documentation about the rebuild.

Been talking to harlow auto and apparantly the legend JD does he\'s tunning their who will be down their tommorow also , he\'s going to put me in touch with him so i can see if he will do a check over inc compression. What should the compression be? 7\'s?

I will get uk tyres included in the final price, not going to kill myself driving home,.

Any input would be great.

Regards Neil

Looks very clean. Some nice mods too. Definitely get the compression checked, even 7s all round is healthy.

When I got mine the compressions were 7.5 across all segments, front and rear and it\'s solid.  You never know with these cars mate.  Personally I\'d buy something standard but you\'ll save money buying one with mods!

Don\'t rush, spend your time looking for the right car, you\'ll know when you find her :)

Hopefully so, do you know him, i ve heard he\'s quite the guru, and pretty sound, though then again their could be more than one JD into rotarys!

The car is very nice looking, though i would have prefered one with a Power FC, but that can be done at a later date.

fil_auto

with the right compression results that looks like a good car for the money! V tidy #;o)

i really like this car. only down side is odd seats. why do people do that???? why not just make em match!!!!
if i had 8 hour to cut down a tree. i`d spend 6 sharpening the axe

Yeah it is one sexi car, the guy is going to have the compression checked, and providing its above 7 and its as clean as it looks i will be having it. straight to my nearest tyre place for good tyres! :-)

JohnnyP

I\'m no expert but my only concern would be the replacement exhaust, has it a decat, is it the standard ecu. It would have been mapped to Japanese fuel, so ask JD what he thinks.

fil_auto

dude - from what I can see its got bridgestone potenza\'s on - nothing wrong with them.... in fact a damn good tyre I believe?! #;o)

Well i "Think" that because japans road are made from a different composition to ours, the tyres are aswell and they dont grip well to uk roads, i ve alwasy been under the impression that it is best to change the tyres on imports, can anyone clarify this please.
