Different loom plugs!

Dam Dam Dam Dam!

Well I forgot to check the plugs on the cabin side of the engine wiring loom!  Apparantley (as in I just found out!! :Giggle)  there are 2 more wires on jap engine loom than UK loom!

Now since I have the JDM wiring in place im thinking I need to get the UK plug off the old loom, get the wires out of this plug and then put them into the UK plug so it will connect up (that sound ok?)

Of course I will have 2 loose wires which will need insulating so what are these 2 extra wires actually for? :3Confused

Ok, I know im back so soon but does anyone know the answer? :3Confused

Ok sorted.  Took both plugs apart and made notes of what wires went where.  Transfered the UK plug over to the Jap loom and insulated the remaining wire.  Finished bolting together the car and SHE LIVES! :King

Don\'t know what that 1 wire was for but all seems to work ok - ATM! :evillaugh:bandit

ive got a feeling it might be something to do with the cruise control. Does your CC deactivate when you press the clutch in?

Not had chance to try it yet dude.

The extra wire if from the jap loom not the UK which is confusing because I would have thought it would have been the other way around with headlight washers, cruise control etc.

Would like to find out what it is there for, could be loads of things I guess.  Like part of the speed limiter - it\'s most likely not that but you know the sort of thing I mean.
