Hi Lisa

This looks like my sort of event so put me down for two tickets

If you already have the tickets it may be an idea to take them to RS and sell them there.

John
I started with nothing and I have most of it left

Ada7

I\'ll come to this as it\'s only 10 minutes away from home :D
Will get my ticket after rotorstock though :)

For those that dont know the Vulcan Bomber is a must to go and watch.  It has taken 15 years to get this plane air worthy and many millions of pounds have been raised to do so.  It was the last of our Delta wing \'V\' force nuclear bombers and the size and noise of the thing will make you smile alone.  This should be a really good day out for the whole family and there will be something for everyones taste.

Thanks Pete for your comments, Clive is really looking forward to this event.

Shame I could not get more people to go to this, still have half the tickets left at a cost to MRC!.

Maybe if we post pictures and tell everyone how good it was maybe we will have more interest next year.

It is now to late to send any tickets or stand passes out as I can not guarantee that you will received them by Saturday now and I cannot get tickets sorted tomorrow as I work during the day.

If any one still wishes to attend the details for this event are //www.wingsandwheels.net, although you would have to pay the ticket price on the day which is £20.00 per adult.

I remember being at an air show when I was a kid and feeling the ground shake when the Vulcan took off  the only thing that came close that would never be allowed today was a British GP in the 70\'s when they flew Concord down the main straight and when it got to paddock hill they pointed it straight up to the sky  AND FULL THROTTLE, the noise and smoke was awesome , sadly a sight never to be repeated

As far as I know this Vulcan is the only one in the world flying, really looking forward to this event rain or shine :)
All the best Clive

You are indeed right Clive, it is the last one that will ever fly.  The display will be tame compared to the times I have seen it perform at the RAF airshows almost 20 years ago.  If you get to see the Chinook or Merlin helicopters perform then they too are an awesome sight.  The weather forcast I think should be ok. I am trying to find a camp site close by but they are all booked solid.  I will try somewhere on route.
