Todays track day was such a success and such a good day was had by all that that another will be organised for August,

Huge thanks go to Malcolm (Casey) for organising todays event.

Here is a selection of the cars in attendance and then at the pub after, apologies if your cars not pictured,

Really nice to see our members out there and having so much fun in their Rotarys,

Lastly, if you are a full club member and you took part in the track day today please PM either Lisa or myself to receive your £20 discount back.

Hi all,

A big thumbs up to Casey for organising this event, good job fella.

Also great to meet old and new friends putting the machinery through their paces.

Fab to see the 8\'s on track too...well done lads.

Excellent morning\'s play!  Thanks for sorting it Casey.

I\'ve now sorted my \'blowy\' exhaust - the mid section and backbox weren\'t bolted together - not sure if it\'s been like that since it was worked on last but it\'s back to it\'s pre-rebuild levels of quiet so I suspect this was missed when things were put back together!  Such is life...

Great so see lots of old and new faces - looking forwards to the next one!

Glad you all had fun out on the track today, Clive came back feeling a little left out on watching from the sidelines  - watch out for the next one when he might take the RX-8 on the track!.

Just to mention those of you that I  need to refund your £20.00, if you have a paypal address please include these in your PM.

Big thanks to casey for this - had a great morning - it was nice to meet up with everyone there. It was also nice that i could feel my driving improving as the day went on from very dire to merely dire, so def better!

What can I say; just a huge thankyou to everyone for supporting this event:Thumbs-up

The combination of a great bunch of people, some awesome cars, perfect weather and a legendary track made it a fantastic day out.

I didn\'t get my camera out until the last 4 minutes of tracktime (enjoying myself too much!), but here are a few pics;

Hi MRC guys.  I was at the Track day in the Silver RX8 with the Track day tires on. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and it was great seeing the rotaries on track and being used properly.  It should happen again sometime!

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Couldn\'t make the MRC day so went to Brands Hatch on my own today. First track day in my Rex and it was absolutely awesome :yes

I did manage to badly melt my front tyres, but it\'s all good :Giggle

Will see y\'all at more track days next year. Now I need to buy shares in Toyo as well as Shell!

Heh. No, the slightly older fronts got a bit murdered, the new back ones are just, erm, well scrubbed in... :flamed

My old Falken rear tyres are still in your workshop - I\'ll bring down some spare wheels and get them fitted in the next week or two.

Anybody want a mechanically very sound near-stock Rex for £7k so I can buy a faster one with all the track bits fitted? :Giggle

Chris.
