RX7 or RX8 ?!

Hi Folks
 
This is my first post in this forum and posted in both RX8 and 3rd Gen RX7 section so if I posted in the wrong section then may I ask the mods to remove it to the right section please?!
 
 
I\'m looking to buy either a RX7 or RX8 as a daily runner but cant make my mind, I dont know much about them so need your feedbacks.
 
As I said It\'s going to be used as a daily runner and the choice would be either a Reg year 2000+ RX7 or a new RX8, I own a lovely twin turbo supra which will remain as a weekend car :Tongue1

Well...for looks and performance, obviously the 7.
But as a daily driver, I\'m guessing an 8.
But having said that, I do quite a few miles in mine and love it

If you got the 7 you would want that as the weekend car ! They are extemely fun.

As a daily driver go for the 8 and convert it to LPG through a local E-gas converter. They handle as good if not better than an FD. They just don\'t have the grunt of an FD. More usable back seats too.

I still have my rx so feel free to pop over and have a look drive etc and i can give you some advice - have to agree with the guys above though.

If you are still doing your 500 miles a year in your supe then perhaps it is time for an rx7 to liven things up a bit!!

roh has moved to farnborough and ive moved to houghton regis but still local so give me a shout.

I have an FD as my daily driver (well, when shes on the road, that is, grumble) and find it fine, although not exactly relaxing. I can understand why some people might not want the experience on a daily basis, you do tend to have to be a bit"on it" all the time or it doesn\'t really make sense. I guess the RX-8 would be a more practical alternative.
