Some thing that really annoys me!!!!

There are times when something happens that really annoys me.

Like trawling through pages of C&*P and then finding a nice bit of kit. Then thinking of others takes time to post a thread about it. Then some arrogent person uses the link i put up to bid on the very same item even though there are quite a few of them, that they know i am bidding on(and i say they know because my user name is the same for forums & ebay & theirs is as well) just because they dont want to wait an extra day or two for the next one to end. Its not that i cant bid or even buy another!! Its the fact that i went out of my way to help others just to get screwed over.

RANT OVER!!!!!!

Yeah i know Steve, It was the battery holder anyway. Like i said i know who it is because his username is the same for here & Ebay.

Did you bid on the other battery holder cause i dont want to bid against you i can wait for the next one.

I see where you are all coming from, I know that i am making it available to a wider audience but surley common deciency would make you think not to outbid the bearer of good news and maybe wait for the next one. I will keep searching through pages & pages of rubbish to find the gems out there and i will post threads to let everyone know about them because loads of you are decent enough (for example Steve Garbutt who actually made sure with me so he did not bid on the same one) to not actually do this.

It is a very decent thing your doing GaseJo, but TBH you shouldn\'t look at what others do in spiteful way, it could\'ve been totally innocent. Given the scenario the person who did outbid you on this forum could have just scan read your post, clicked your link and thought \'hmm I need one of those\' and mindlessly bid on it.

Second thing to note is regardless of your ebay/MRC username the member/bidder wouldn\'t have known who the last bidder was, noticed ebay denotes bidders by "bidder1, bidder2" and so on?

Anyway, just consolation to clear your mind & vent, it doesn\'t have to be indecency or spite

Anyone know where I can get a full size battery case/cage as I have relocated my battery from the engine bay?

Yeah i understand where you are coming from and to a degree you are probably right. But The link i posted was not for the holder i was bidding on it was for the next holder available to bid on. So to my mind he must have activally searched for the nearest one to finish which i put on the thread is the one i was bidding on.

Blitzboy if you go back to the link and visit his shop he does quite afew holders so may have one to suite your needs.

As it was said in here, I just misread the post and expressly didn\'t bid in the link you posted. In stead I placed my bid in another one in which I didn\'t see your user name.
I didn\'t realize that ebay was changing the user names to show different as I could see mine without problems.

Here is what I saw, and I thought that if they crossed the middle letters in your name, it will still show as G***O which it didn\'t.

I was in not hurry at all, as the battery holder is going to my parts stack in my loft until I can save up for a rebuild for my car. If I knew that you were bidding on it I\'d definitely plaice my bid in another one as there were more than one for sale at the time.
I\'m sorry to cause a inconvenience, but it wasn\'t caused out of arrogance or bad faith.

When it arrives would it be possible for you to put a post up on the quality anf fittment of the holder as there are a few of us wanting to get one, and it would be nice for someone who has actually seen it to give there opioion.
