A Bit of help needed......

I am removing all the bits to enable me to fit a V-Mount.  I have removed I/C, Fans & Radiator. Underneath the rad is another rad is this the A/C radiator or the oil cooler radiator? I know the A/C rad need to come out but i dont want to remove the wrong one. Also if anyone is in need of the standard bits then let me know. i.e Rad, I/C, rad Fans, A/C unit, Battery box and base NO TOP or it is all going in the bin.

Cheers Garith.

the air con rad is very thin and is different from the oil cooler..if in any doubt trace the pipe from the compressor and it will lead to the ac rad
caution this is under pressure and goes with a mighty bang when u release it(its also supposedly illegal to release the gas

GaseJo

Thanks mate,

The gas has allready escaped (By pure accident LOL) and yes it went with a big bang LOL. I had a quick look at the route of the pipes from above but where thery disapear under the engine i could not tell which return pipes went to the rad. I will have to jack her up when the hail stops pounding down.

Cheers Garith.

Hi interloper393,

The rad i am on about is probably the same length as the water rad but about half the height and is directly under the water rad. I am almost positive it is the A/C rad. What else needs to be removed to fit a v-mount? So far the battery A/C I/C has come out.

Cheers Garith.

thats it//the rad/ac rad /battery that should leave u the space to fit the v mount..u will neeed to relocate the relay box at the front of the engine bay as well

GaseJo

Thanks for all the info lads,

Where is the best place to relocate the relay box to?

Cheers Garith.

wherever there is room to fit it !!  should be plenty of pics on here of various location.  Loom length does limit its travel though.
