Top Tips Needed!!! Anybody fitted a Autometer 5 1/2" tacho to a FC?

I\'m gonna be fitting a Autometer tacho to my FC.... Just need some tips from someone who has fitted one:Thumbs-up

The tacho picks up it signal from the negitive side of the coil and has two wires that require cutting or not cutting, for 8 cyl no wires are cut. For 6 cyl the brown wire is cut and for 4cyl the brown and orange wire is cut???
