Would this be a good idea?

Say I had up to £15k to spend on an RX7 - cos we cant import 99+ spec Rexs over here [boo hiss], would it be a good idea to buy the best example I can find [say for £8-10k] and they use the rest of my budget on getting the car looking and driving like I want?
 
I love the look of the late spec cars, so I\'d 100% want those additions, and then I guess I\'d have enough money to get the engine running real smooth, plus sorting the suspension/brakes etc?
 
I understand I wouldn\'t then get my money back if I decided to sell it a few years later, but what an amazing Rex I would have?!?!

I\'m only talking in theory at the moment, as I gotta sort a new house first, but in the future I will be buying a Jap supercar and gotta pick between an RX7, Evo 6/7/8, 350Z or R33 GTR!!!

I wouldnt count a 350z as a supercar. The RX8 beats it hands down for looks, handling etc

Nah, I aint really a RX8 fan Ash. They bought by to many men in suits - plus I think the Z is far more aggressive and a bunch faster. The 7 on the other hand has got the lot: the looks, the speed, the rarity. Wish I could find a Spirit R over here for a price I could afford!

The Nissan\'s motor is sweeeet, and you can make them handle very nicely

So spending £7k on a good RX7 and the rest specing it to what I want [be it another £7k], is a good idea then?
 
Oh yeah, another thing I wanted to ask: how come I cant find a section with pics of members cars, is there one?
