cat or not

hi all
removed centre box yesterday, thinking cat was had it, put it on a band saw and cut end off and there was only stuffing in there, so im thinking it most be a mid silenced box, but there is still a connection for the air pump to connect to so any body any idea what it is cat or not :Thumbs-up

i dont no ricco could have, o well all welded back together in work shop and back on car now
