Big thanks to Clive at Mazdarotaryparts.com for the new Tiger silenced mid pipe which has made a huge difference in reducing the noise level.

From a mid pipe which was effectively unsilenced, I\'ve got a drop of 20db before and after using a static reading to the side and to the rear on a digital sound level meter, and, the drive-by under mild acceleration was 65-71 db.

The set up has the Tiger mid pipe which does have a huge silencer box and the cat back is an SMB twin pipe which I think looks great.

So just need a final mapping at Carls (plus some fuelling mods) and then I\'m sorted for a while.

I\'ve got the digital sound meter until next week and if any folks want to take a reading I will bring it with me to the AGM on Saturday.

Complete RUBBISH Ross,yours are completely different to these,yours have a tiny bore on the inside,the wall thickness on yours is much thinner than these and these have a 3 inch straight through bore so very quiet with no restriction.
How do I know? Because David at Rotecknics actually developed these along with me testing an early one and then Tiger putting them into production.
Neither Rotecknics,Mazdarotaryparts,or Hayward Rotary operate out of a bedroom.

A phone call to me would have stopped you you looking as silly and ill informed as you have on this thread.

If you would have had any sense you would have looked at the picture before posting and seen that this new silencer bears no relation to yours in any way and is reflected in the price, comiserations that you like us also have to find a large lump of money for your premisis per month

Oh my, I have one of these exhausts from Ross about a year and a half ago same silencer and it has a three inch bore, can send pics if you wish!

Yours must be very different to the ones that I have seen then Jaydee,the ones i have seen have fallen to bits and needed welding due to the inferior guage of the steel,and also internally the bore has been around 2 inches if not less in diameter!
Think your self fortunate to not have had one of those!

I can assure you Jason that these silenced midpipes were not copied from Ross\'s,they have been developed completely seperately,if anyone wants to know for sure then just call David at Rotecknics and ask him.

I hope the copy of these communications below will show that Clive Is not a Tiger Distributor and the exhaust that he is showing is not a Tiger exhaust, and also that in the last 3 years we have not had any warranty claims, contary to what Carl has said.
Plus this has been a complete waste of my time, when I have circuit car to be getting on with.

We would be happy to confirm that all the above products will be available to Dragon Performance on an exclusive basis in 2008 providing that you confirm your intention to order these products again from us this year, and we would be pleased to continue this arrangement in the future subject to mutual agreement.
 
As for Shy - we have sold them some 90 degree bends & straight tube recently - but we would never sell them the above RX7 products (or anything similar) as long as our agreement is in place. I can give my personal assurance that this would not happen.

The dispute is not the question, access has been suspended due to the way this matter has been approached. This is a private matter between companies and the clubs forum is not your personal battle ground for disputes between your own company and others. That is the reason for the suspension and a such is not affect by whom is right or wrong.

You obviously have these peoples contact details without using the forum so please use these channels in future.

I think most people would agree that arguing a point like this in public had no positive outcome for any party other than letting everyone have a candid view of what should be the behind the scenes workings of a bussiness.
