What to do next????????????

Had my Fd mapped by Geff of REWORX recently and found that it was producing 241bhp at the rear wheels. My mods are:-
Power FC
Blitz front mount
hks induc
De cat
Apexi Exhaust
32000 miles
 Obviously i was pleased with this number but more importantly the way it got there, very smooth power curveand very good boost line. Geff said that is was one of the smoothest he had seen:p
 Problem is as alot of you will understand....I WANT MORE..... So the question is what to do next? Should I stay twin or go single?
If I stay twin the biggest way to gain power would be to port the engine,correct?
Obviously I dont want to do this until I need to rebuild, so maybe I should go single...ADVICE I NEED ADVICE......

Jay, porting and single turbo\'s will give loads more power. Another way of getting power would be to lower intake temps.

Get yourself a water injection kit. Lowers intake temps and will allow more ignition to be run.

WI took power away on mine on Saturday. Seems you need big boost to justify it. I think I\'m gonna use mine to spray onto the intercooler instead. A very small shot of nitrous (for cooling) would do a lot more. CPL do a complete kit, and fit it, for £900.

You shouldbe able to make more than that from tuning alone, I have the same mods but I don\'t have a front mount I/C
Mine made 271.6bhp on the rollers

Mind you I suppose it all depends on which rollers you go on at the end of the day

They were both Dyno Dynamics.  Should be pretty similar, plus I got my figure there which is loads higher with a lot less mods...

Yes, but with a Power FC I can presume you can map it for whatever boost you wanted as long as everything else was in place to enable that...

What boost are you running Dave, as your figure is similar to mine.

0.8 I think, I think thats standard, certainly never goes over 0.9

Spoke to Aj today to get some spec on my exhaust. It turns out his garage made the Decat pipe as directed by Tim at RX MOTORS and the front pipe is standard.So I think I might start with this area. It does blow 10 inch flames out but I waqnt more power.......
 Any advice on wher to get a front pipe and how much would be great.

Any one have pictures of stock down pipe compared against an HKS down pipe out of interest? I dont think the HKS pipe is much bigger is it?

Didnt some one say Clive had big down pipes for sale? or was that mid pipes?? Give him a bell and see what he can do.

I dont think the stock jap down pipe is meant to be that bad? I\'d replace it with as big as u can get if you\'re gonna bother at all mate. Most of the main Jap lot make down pipes with 80mil pipe, I\'d go for one of them if you can get one...
