Hawk HP Plus pads

Hi all,
im just about to get some Hawk HP Plus pads ive heard they are very good, is anyone using these? are there any recormendations for differnet pads?
i have a gen 1 but feedback on anyone using these would be good
P.S the car is a second car and is used for some drag but i want to do some track days next year hence the upgrade

I\'m using these on the rears but HT-10s on the fronts.  Brilliant once they get a bit of heat in them and equivalent to stock from cold.

They\'re pretty good with standard FD discs but I\'m using uprated discs on the front so that accounts for a bit of the performance too.

Thanks im going to be upgrading the discs aswell, calipers also being rebuilt

Iain has a single tubby 3rd gen, your 1st gen wont need HT10\'s but think your HP plus might not be good enough for track work, have a look at HP blues or blacks.

Thanks Gary i will bear them in mind but i can get the HP Plus as such a good price its worth the gamble if they dont perform i will look at the alternatives:yes
