While on idle if i rev the car a little the whole car rocks, Its just a little bit but is this because its a big powerful engine in a lightweight sportscar or do i need to check my engine mounts.

Engine was only fitted this year ?

I like the feeling of it, it feels sorta angry

Thats the V8 for you bro, solid engine mounts are still attached to the car so will still shake :Party

Nahhh Mate, sorry my bad

I dont have a V8 its a bone stock 13b but what im saying is when you rev a V8 the whole car shakes well my 13b sorta does the same just not as much.

Im currently putting it down to the fact the car dont weigh very much and im guessing the 13b isnt the lightest engine?

This is because the car is rocking in the opposite direction to the rotation of the engine.
The engine does not weigh much only 85 kilos for the bare block.

As Carl says, it\'s the inertia of the engine (particularly the bits rotating!)
On a big V8 there\'s lots of inertia in the crankshaft and pistons which needs to be overcome when you blip the throttle... and that all gets reacted back through the engine mounts :)
