hi all,
my FB has started playing up. It will start and run fine for-ever on my drive, but as soon as I try going anywhere it cuts out after about 100meters. wait for an hour or two and it will start and run again. When it wont run theres no fuel getting to the carb, although the pump still makes its normal noise.
So, where do I look for a cut off valve? Will it even have one? I have replaced the rubber lines and the filter, but it has not helped. do I take the fuel pomp apart and check for something wrong with the non-return valves? will it even have them?

Regards
Dennis

Does the pump still keep running all the time?
It may have an intermittent fault.
There are no non return valves.
Is the car stock?
Maybe there is a blockage in the fuel system somehwere.
If you take the pipes off in turn and blow through them with some compressed air that might help, low pressure of course.
