My Single Turbo finally finished !!

Taken five months to get to this point, and alot of money, blood, sweat and tears !!

But as I think you\'ll agree you will be impressed as I am !! The wait has been worth it, just need to get it mapped now as it\'s overfuelling big time with the 850 primaries !

What do you think ?

Engine wise it\'s basically

T04R turbo with 0.96 A/R hotside
3" HKS downpipe
HKS manifold

Street ported engine out of 2001 car

Power FC and commander
850cc primaries
1350cc secondaries
Greddy Pullies
Greddy Elbow

Apexi FMIC and 3" hard pipes from turbo to intake
Koyo Rad
4" Airfilter

Lots of little tips and tricks of my own like coolant throttle body bypass, dual throttle disabling and things like that :yes

Sounds good for a comfortable 400rwhp.

I have been trying to get hold of JayDee but seems like he is pretty elusive!

With regards to power, I want to keep it realiable as possible and I\'m a bit unsure what boost to run to be honest ??

1 bar is my idea of a good compromise.

I have stock fuel injectors so cannot go past 0.8 bar.

I have a t04S and make 335rwhp.

T04R should make better power, so I\'d go for 1 bar no less.

REWORX seem to be making all the big No\'s lately.

Jaydee is your man for a rebuild for sure , he has no dyno afaik.

Yeah I was thinking about runnig 1.0bar too, seems like a nice figure, although some people I know are saying I have the mods for 1.2bar plus so why not go for it. (these are the people that have never done an engine swap and a single turbo build with their own hands, and also who obviously have bottomless pockets)

I heard JayDee was hot on mapping to, been speaking to his mate Laeeq so hopefully I can get in touch with him soon.

Got a pump and a fpr though mate. 335rwhp at 0.85 bar at reworx.

power is inversely proportional to engine life.

hence I run 0.75 bar and hope for many years of reliability

I just took it for a quick spin and my god it is QUICK !

I can\'t boot it or make it boost much as it isn\'t mapped, but man that turbo spools so hard I can just feel it is going to unleash absolute hell when it comes on song
