RX8 starter motor

Hi all From a warmer place :King where RX7\'s dont rust as fast....:Laugh

Im at the moment trying to wedge my RX8 gearbox into my RX2 Which had spent the last 2 years in storage.



Now I need a starter motor...

Will a RX7 Gen 3 fit or do I have to get a RX8 one?

And If so, Anyone want to sell me one? ( Its £55 to airmail a starter ...Long story) Dont start on the gearstick!

Actually if someone could measure the Pivot and end ball sizes and the distance between, It would make my life easier making one! ( I need one about 20 cm longer than standard and at a funny angle so its Off to the machinist mate...)

Hi Buddy,

The FD starter fits fine, with 10mm spacers on the locating bolts.
