Removing Centre Console

I have bought the central plastic gearbox panel (with switches) and the vinyl bit it sits on. How does the vinyl bit come out? Is it just a case of pulling it out?

Be careful. But it does just pull off, held on with wee spring clips. Phil

the bit with the switches on it pulls up, but yeah, be carefull..

the screws for the bit underneath (the spongy surround) are exposed when you lift the top bit off.
