WI question

I what to fit a WI system as intake temps are on the high side.
I have a cat back system & Apexi FC everything else is standard.
The plan is to fit a de-cat pipe and have a remap late august, but i what to fit the WI system soon as. Is it safe for me to run the system without having a remap? It\'s a basic cooling mist system but i\'m going to fit an over ride switch to use in traffic.
