After owning my car for nearly 5 months or so, and struggling to beat - note the word struggling -  several \'lesser\' cars off lights (no offence to civics type rs), my car has been reborn!

Never have i heard the agressive 2nd turbo kick in so agressively and the car hold boost before. NOW I know how fast a rx7 is in a straight line and what the term holding boost means!

If anyone is wondering what was the problem, incase your car is struggling it could be many things but I believe it was a combination of clutch/intercooler/piping (was bad). The piping wasn\'t as tightly held together by the samco hoses as it had previously been held together with sticky tape, which had managed to lodge itself within the piping :2Confused . This only became apparent after the intercooler was changed.

All were changed and the car has been transformed. I have to give a personal shout out to Laeeq who did all this work over the past few days.

The intercooler I changed to was the xs power one (Which I believe people were asking about if its any good) - made a MASSIVE difference to my car - though piping will have a good amount to do with it.

Car is running sweely - thank you laeeq - how I had missed this being the problem for months is a mystery.

Had the same kind of result when i changed from a piggyback ecu to a Apexi-Power FC.
Glad you are enjoying it :)

Just finished my vac hose job, fitted a HKS induction kit with hard pipes and installed my Apexi ECU.   Car went OK previously but full boost was a bit of a lottery at times. Now she starts instantly, runs so much smoother and pulls like a train. Got an Greddy FMIC in the garage and a HKS BOV to fit , then its off to the tuners for a re-map.
I think my Apexi was a slow learner :D . Did the 30 minute learning thing and took her out, ran really well but didn\'t seem to have the same punch as previously. Took her out a few times today and she appears to pull much harder. Could be wishful thinking ...who cares...she goes really well.:driving
