blown my secondary turbo apart

I lost boost a week or two ago, and got around to looking at it the problem this weekend, it turns out my Y pipe had blown apart on the gasket that connects the primary to the secondary and may have taken the housing of the secondary turbo with it, either that or the housing came loose first and weekend the join on the Y-Pipe.

What im left with is a housing thats not connect to the rest of the turbo and what looks like a spring clip? its a metal ring slightly larger in diameter then the internal diameter of the turbo housing, and has about 30degrees of it missing.

Should this spring clip be holding the turbo housing on?  And would it be possible to fix without removing the turbo packs?
