Hello everyone, just thought I\'d introduce myself & ask for some invaluable advice at the same time :Thumbs-up .
I recently purchased a T78 Rex (Gurj\'s old beast)  it\'s an awesome car but just got some niggly problems. The nearside rear indicator bulb wasn\'t working so I pulled the lamp unit, checked the bulb which seemed fine but replaced it anyway, after that I\'ve lost all indicator function. The relay clicks at the normal rate but the flashers on the dash dont work anymore or any flasher bulbs themselves. I work at garage & got some advice from my techies that it could be a bad earth, I just wondered if anyone else had encountered this before. Its got a Toad Ai606 alarm, with every other alarm I\'ve had the indicators flash when arming or disarming, this one never has. Could this possibly be related??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :yes
Thanks in advance,
Chris

the alarm should piggy back onto the indicators wire ( or mine does ) and shouldnt stop them working ( unless all the wiring has fallen apart )

have you checked the fuses in the footwell ??

Hi Chris,

Glad to see someone bought the RX in the end mate, just be careful in the wet this baby is seriously quick as you\'ve probably discovered by now :evillaugh

Not sure about the indicator thing, best thing to do would be check all the wiring to make sure there no wear anywhere which might have caused this issue ??? When activating the alarm initially it did used to flash the indicators to tell you its armed by cant remember when they stopped doing that ?? :3Confused  if you think it might be linked to the alarm pop it down to your local alarm specialist and see if they might know why ??

Did you put the rear wing back on dude ?? I think a GT style rear wing would look awesome on her, it was one of the things i was going to get done but decided a change of car was in order altogether as there wasn\'t much left to do, the engine bay is also full now, possibly relocate the battery into the rear too ??

Hopefully will see you at some shows this year, would be lovely to see the PurpleOne again as is deffo one of the better RX\'s out there without doubt !!! :D  My new rx7 should be ready in the next few weeks too so will be attending most meets myself :god

Love these pic of her, as some people lose the curves of the FD with the mods they do, if you look at the pics carefully you will see everything blends in beautifully
