Hi All,

Registered last October and have been logging on and reading the posts on a
regular basis since then.

Just wanted to say a hello to you all and a big thank-you ( long over due ) to Miguel @ Newera Imports for sourcing my car. I did consider other cars before my purchase, but following some dialogue with Miguel and a bit of research of my own I came back to plan A. As you will all know, spending thousands on a car that you haven\'t even seen can be a risky business. But, on the recommendations from the MRC website and other forums on NEI I decided to take the plundge. It\'s the best car I\'ve ever owned ( and I\'ve had a few ) I\'m so glad glad I decided to buy it. I guess like everything in life ( inc rip off Britain ) you pay for what you get!

Also a thanks to Gareth at Newera delevopments for prepping my car, knows his stuff on Rex\'s. Anyone who knows the torque setting for tightening up the wheel nuts on my car off the top of his head gets my vote.

Only fault to report so far is the cluster has gone on the rev counter / oil pressure gauge, so having to drive it "by ear" at the moment:driving

It\'s not my dailer driver so have the benefit of only bringing it out on a nice day, God bless the company car! I\'m located in north Leicestershire and I notice that there are a few Rex owners in the surrounding area which is good. Would have gone to Donny over the bank holiday weekend but the In-laws came over from Ireland, did many go?

Not too hot on this forum lark ( will learn, promise ) and I can\'t post any pictures but a breif spec of my car is as follows:

1992 Vintage red
99 spec Mazda OEM front & rear bumber inc splitter & spoiler
TEIN coilover suspension
Kakimoto regu 92 exhaust
( sounds like it\'s ripping the tarmac up on boost, according to my Dad )
Advan 3 spoke light alloys with Yokohama GP
Feed hard pipe conversion
Splitfire earthing kit
Turbo timer
Greddy POD and temp gauge

Anyway thats me, no doubt will meet some of you at the upcoming shows!
