Is it safe to drive my rex without and undertray. I have a FMIC  so I\'m not to worried about water splashing up from underneath as I wont be driving through any big puddles!!!!

Anybody else running theirs without?

P.S....my car is pretty low....as in LOOOOOWWWWW:D

Cheers

Hi Ed,

l ran my FD without one when l first put it on the road and it overheated on the motorway when on constant revs!

If you haven\'t got one to put on you could as l did make one out of an alloy sheet that bolts from the bolts on the front splitter back to the crossmember.
All the best Clive

Clive,

Why do you think it overheated?

Is the radiator stood up as well?

I think the tray is there to force air into the OE intercooler and radiator. But as you have a front mount the only bit you need to make sure of is that air gets to the radiator. So the radiator needs to be either ducted from the front mount, or directly behind it.

Clive, weren\'t you running stock intercooler and radiator at the time you tested it.
