Might have been asked before but i cant remember anyone ever asking it...

The underbonnet blanket...does it actually do anything apart from minor sound insulation and looking old, ugly and battered!?!

Also how easy/hard is it to modify a stock bonnet...i.e: adding a vent here and there?

Modify a standard bonnet? Who would do such a thing!??!!? Got to be very gentle as the ali is so soft,easy enough if you use the right tool!:)

Atm in the middle of making a custom undertray but proving a little hard without the engine in place :o
I made up my top tray last week will get it polished and post pics
