RX8 ordered but...

Hi all, just ordered my RX-8 to be delivered April/May 2004, but I have a favour to ask. I\'ve read the many posts from people that have already taken delivery of their RX8. How you are enjoying a great car. You talk about the fun, the enjoyable driving experience, the handling and performance and the pure excitement, how you get goosebumps just before lowering yourself into the contoured drivers seat in anticipation as to whats to come.

PLEASE STOP!

It\'s bad enough having to wait almost 5 months for mine to be delivered, but to read what a great time you people are having is hell. How about talking about the weather, Kylie\'s 2004 calendar or anything else to take my mind off my long wait. Or at least until mine is delivered and I can join in your experiences.

Just think when you get your car you only have to drive through the tunnel to come to our Pub meet we have once a month,

Hmmmmm perhaps that just makes the wait worse, O/K then how about this you could work your way around the dealerships obtaining road tests ?

Seriously l am sure your wait will be more than worth it.

lol i was guna sympathise with u as i\'ve been waiting circa 4 months now & although it is now in the UK i still have yet to have a drive but anticipation sure does add sumin! who am i trying to kid lemy at it lol
anyway i was guna say that but then i go tsidetracked kuz u said the magic word KYLIE

Clive, where do you meet? I can then try to avoid the area! More serisouly though I like to try and come along one month if possible.

Scooby, make sure you\'ve got the Kylie calendar on your xmas list, it\'ll help pass the time while you wait to drive your RX8. It\'s going to help each months wait for me.

2nd Tuesday of every month 8pm, allthough not many souls are brave enough to venture out this time of the year  


The pub is ‘The Wharf’ (pub/restaurant), Galleon Boulevard, Dartford, Kent. To get there from the Dartford Crossing- heading southbound into Kent from Essex: take the 1st exit (Kent side) then follow the “Bluewater” signs onto Crossways Business Park. Turn right at the second roundabout, (past Mazda HQ!), go straight ahead at the next roundabout and it\'s at the end of the road.

They serve food there also

I can understand the frustration of the wait.  I had to wait 37 weeks from order to delivery for my car.  The last few months were almost unbearable.  I must however say that from the moment I got the car I just forgot all about the wait and it was very soon a distant memory.

April/May will soon come round and it looks like you should have your car ready for Rotorstock meet in May.
