Hi Guys,
just after a wiring diagram for the above if anyone has one please.

I think I\'m having problems during a warm restart and symptoms point to fuel starvation.

If there any experts out there, can you confirm that during starting, a resistor is bypassed thus allowing more fuel to be pumped? Or indeed if there are any differences between starting and normal running, when I don\'t have any problems.

I have no idea why this only affects the car when the engine is hot ??????
Any fuel press regulator solenoid guru\'s out there also????

Thanks

I found something......
Seems the pump may be ok. It stays at low speed when starting.

Now I\'m thinking pressure regulator control.....

Problems starting when hot, normaly point to worn tips!!!

Get a compression check to eliminate the mechanics side of things!!

HI,
yup feared that also. Compression is OK.

We thought it was flooded but when the plugs were removed they were dry & when the engine was turned over nothing came out.

Turning the ign on and off a good few times (to get the fuel flowing) go it to fire, and eventually by pumping the accelerator it ran fine.

It only happens AFTER a warm restart - starts fine when hot but because the fuel isn\'t getting through it gradually just dies.

I\'m convinced it\'s the fuel pressure regulator solenoid as the only time it is on is during idle and only after a hot start. (as per document above).

Anyway, I\'ll get a new one and let you know if it fixes it. errr is it easy enough to replace these solenoids?

Can anyone help me out with the part number please? :-)
