If you don\'t want anything to flash get on ebay there are some deals to be had.

Not online, but you could try phoning John Kleis of Reading. Mark O\'Connor works there and he owns an RX so he may do you a good turn if you want a price matched or something (he did for me so it\'s only right I return the favour)

I\'d be very careful on ebay as some deals that appear to be really good aren\'t always as headunits are suddenly shipped from the US, or unknown makes from HK and fun like that. I\'m currently looking for a headunit for my FD and I\'m getting really careful out there.

I\'ve got a spare older Alpine with CD changer but that\'s not really what you\'re after, either.

I\'ve used car audio direct loads, and found them to be seriously competative, and really helpful!  Whenever I\'ve asked them questions about kit, and what I need, they\'ve invariably sent me in the right direction - on one occasion I asked about needing a power cap, and was told not to waste money buying one for the install I had at the time.  Will happily use them in future when buying kit.

I\'ve had exactly the same experience, a great company with the kind of customer service that is deserving of reccommendations. Brilliant value, 1st rate company.

Both Maplins and caraudiodirect do special\'s from time to time - I got my Kenwood mp3 capable head unit from them half price.
