I was wondering if anyone can inform me about what readings I should be seeing using this gauge. bought these as a set and have no idea what I am looking for normaly on the boost gauge.
My gauge reads in IN-Hg vac can anyone tell me what would be a normalish reading, I have tried ot figure out the in-hg to bar conversion but it just confused me:(

Should I be seeing a -0 reading on idle and then +0 on accelaration?

Please anyone any idea\'s

Pic attached of the gauge to give an idea.

Thanks in advance

thats a psi guage by the looks of things,  14.2 or 14.7 psi cant remember which, is 1 bar boost.  Ignore the vacume reading. Just check the maximum readings in PSI, on a stock engine i think 11 - 12 psi is about max assuming you have an FD.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Thanks for the pointer, so looks like I have been making things more complicated than they need to be thanks for putting me straight.

Yea I see -15 on idle and anything up to 12 on full boost, on over run I\'m getting -20 to -25 depending on what rpm & weather conditions!!
