anyone tried any of the Trust intercoolers on ebay there priced at £499?
Are these genuine or just a con?

strange_days_uk

This guy is the best on ebay http://stores.ebay.co.uk/JPS-Trading-Limited and he will send with low value for customs.  I bought the HKS type S one getting it fitted on monday, send with value of $78 just paid a £20 fee to Fedex for clearance through customs, hehe

Or try //www.rhdjapan.com very good as well speak to Patrick

Chers I\'ll go have a look

strange_days_uk

Be warned regards the Trust kits, there was a massive lead time on the spec M\'s from Trust factory, which is why I ended up getting the HKS one.  Be sure to ask if they have in stock before giving money over..

Cheers will do, would prefere an HKS anyway

I have been told the HKS ones are better than the trust ones.

RHD are good, and they sell 2nd hand stuff at good prices I know how you feel mikeyh

so the greddy coolers be ok for minor mods?
ment to be getting a  spec m one,

im running twins as well think ill keep it that way the now.

strange_days_uk

The Greddy is good up to around 15psi (1 Bar ish) on stock twins.

Anything more than that then you want better spec i/c.

Similarly the HKS fmic type S (the one i got) about the same, they then do an uprated one for big single tub or more boost.

The base greddy or HKS should be perfect for stock twins combined with all the basic mods (induction, power fc etc)

flatty

whats anyones thoughts on these??i no the intercoolers are good quality as a mates got one on his skyline, and seems very well made

one of our members had one of these fitted, he said it was a tw@t to fit and he ended up spending more than it would have cost to buy a better one with the price of pipes ect.
im sure he will be along shortly to give his opinion (sorry Pete i cannot remember your user name off the top of my head)

yeah think ill just stick to the greddy one
also what has to be moved when fitting one?

strange_days_uk

speak to a vendor - for one thing you need to move gthe rad to vertical position

also sometimes you need to relocate battery

mikeyh

do you need to put in a bigger ic if you only doing slight mods,ie induction kit and straigh through exhaust?
