Sticky Rev Counter

Hi Guys

My rev counter is not working as it should! One minute its working fine, then the needle just drops to the bottom and doesnt move.

thought it might be a loose wire so removed the dash, but all the connections are fine!

Any suggestions of what it could be?

in hav same problem but mine redlines aswell i hav replaced unit still the same??

just read some other threads, and they have all replaced the counter and has corrected the problem! Apparently they develop faults!
